PVTA IFB #24-005 UMass Maintenance Facility Expansion

Dates: 02/08/2024 to 05/11/2024

Project consists of the construction of an addition to the PVTA UMass Maintenance Facility. Two existing two-post axle engaging lifts will be retrofitted to include a third post capable of servicing the PVTA’s fleet of 60’ articulating busses. Additionally, two new maintenance bays will be constructed and serviced by owner-furnished mobile column lifts. The contractor must phase the project, such that the PVTA will have access to two maintenance bays at all times during construction. A Prebid meeting for all bidders will be held on February 22, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at UMass Transit Services, 185 Holdsworth Way, Amherst, MA 01002 (PVTA UMass Facility).
