IFB #22-008 Bus Wash Installations Phase IIB

Project Description: Project consists of a bus wash replacement at the PVTA’s Northampton Facility and a bus wash refurbishment at the UMass Facility. The Northampton facility scope of work also included fluid hose replacement in the service lane which is to be connected the PVTA’s existing fluid management system by Assetworks. Each facility will receive replacement unit heaters, an electric snow melt system, painting of the bus wash bays/service lanes, resealing the concrete slabs of the service lanes, traffic line striping, and cleaning of the existing bus wash equipment to remain. Both facilities will receive replacement LED lighting fixtures. There is separate Alternate in the bid for replacement of lighting fixtures with new LED fixtures in the Bus Storage area and Maintenance Bays at the UMass facility. This alternate includes adding 3-way switches and removing existing occupancy sensors. The bid requires a unit price for the replacement of lighting fixtures shown in the drawings for the Base Bid and Alternate.
