Travel Trainer at PVTA
PVTA is hiring a part-time Travel Trainer. Hours are typically between 20 and 30 hours per week with the potential for additional hours. The Travel Trainer will assist with providing training for elders and individuals with disabilities who wish to gain greater independence through access and use of fixed-route public transportation; conduct needs assessments, develop training plans, and conduct individual and small group training sessions to help individuals learn to use fixed-route bus service. Flexible scheduled needed. Occasional nights and weekends may be required. The positions are funded for a minimum of two years with the possibility of continued employment based on additional funding.
