Transit Navigation Instructor at PVTA

PVTA is hiring a part-time Transit Navigation Instructor to work between 20 and 30 hours per week with the potential for additional hours. The Transit Navigation Instructor will assist with providing training for elders and individuals with disabilities who wish to gain greater independence through access and use of fixed-route public transportation; conduct needs assessments, develop training plans, and conduct individual and small group training sessions to help individuals learn to use fixed-route bus service. Occasional nights and weekends may be required. The position is funded for a minimum of two years with the potential for advancement within PVTA and the possibility of continued employment based on additional funding.
