Transit Navigation Instructor at PVTA
PVTA is hiring a Transit Navigation Instructor. The successful candidate will assist with providing training for elders and individuals with disabilities who wish to gain greater independence through access and use of fixed-route public transportation. The Transit Navigation Instructor will conduct needs assessments, develop training plans, and conduct individual and small group training sessions to help individuals learn to use fixed-route bus service. The position is scheduled for 37.5 hours/week. Actual work hours may vary. This position is funded for a minimum of three (3) years with the potential for advancement within PVTA and the possibility of continued employment based on additional funding.
